Many programmes for new leaders focus on management tasks and qualification credits. This one is different.

The aim of our First-time First-line Leaders Programme is to develop and enhance foundational leadership behaviours. There is a strong focus on enacting relationship behaviours at work which are the hallmark of leaders others choose to follow. Understanding and enacting these behaviours establishes a solid platform for a successful leadership career.

Participants

The programme is for those who supervise or manage operations teams that are engaged directly with providing services to internal and external customers. They'll have responsibility for the performance of team members and for service delivery to customers.

These participants may be in a first team leadership role and want to establish a solid platform for success at operations leadership, or they may be more experienced and seek validation and further enhancement of their leadership practice.

Foundations

The programme is founded on a leadership model and a core set of leadership behaviours.

Structure

The programme outlined here consists of eight workshop days, delivered over a few months, with coaching support throughout, and preceded by completion of a 360review. The duration, content and structure of the programme can be adapted to suit your organisation's needs and can incorporate your organisation’s unique leadership competencies.
